Double Header for Elsto!

November 7, 2009 - Lucie travels to Norway to add yet another title. New Danish champion under the world renowned poodle specialist and judge, Mr. Frank Sabella. Thanks to Mr. Sabella and to Åge Gjetnes, Lucie's co-owner, for showing her to yet another title.

And in the saluki ring, Yaffa returns after many months of absence due to having her litter and also becomes a new Danish Champion. Thanks to Elisabeth Leven for handling Yaffa to this win.

Group One for Lucie

October 4, 2009 - Hamar, Norway. Lucie wins the CACIB and Best of Breed at the NKK International show in Hamar, Norway. She doesn't stop there but goes on to win the Group in very strong competition. Go, Lucy! The Judge for Breed and Group was Kenneth Edh of Sweden. Thank you!

Finland Success

September 25 & 26, 2009 - Lucie travels to Finland and wins the CC, the international CACIB and Best of Breed under Swedish judge Åke Cronander. She then goes on to win the Group and Best In Show 3 under Swedish judge Kurt Nilsson. Beautifully handled by her co-owner, Åge Gjetnes.
With this win, Lucie adds 2 more titles to her name becoming Finnish and Nordisk Champion.
Way to go Lucie!!

Amanda in Atlanta

September 20, 2009 - Amanda travels to Atlanta with Camilla and wins her first U.S. point with Winners Bitch and Best Opposite Sex. Judge was David Samuelson.

Jonas Finishes!!

September 13, 2009 - Jonas, Elsto Khariz Abracadabra, finishes his Norwegian championship under judge Marit Sunde from Norway at the International Show in Stavanger, Norway.
Congratulations! Jonas is the third to finish from the Neo/Annie litter.

Poodle Club Anniversary Show - Norway

September 12, 2009 - Lucie wins the Breed at the Poodle Club Anniversary Show and is 4th Best In Specialty. Judge was Mhairi Aikman.

September 13, 2009 - At the Stavanger International the next day, Lucie repeats her Best of Breed win and goes on to 3rd in the Group. Judge for Breed was Gajic Zeljko and Group Judge was Arne Foss.

Thanks to Lucie's breeder for handling her to these wins.

Odin Wins and Lusie Wins!

August 16, 2009: Lusie wins the CACIB and is Best of Breed and Group IV in Oslo today. Breed judge was John Reeve Newson and Group Judge was Virginia Lyne; both from Canada.
And, at the Afghan National Specialty in Norway, Elsto Khariz Odin (owned by Jorunn Kirkbak) wins the CC under judge Djorde Tesic of Serbia. Congratulations!!

Sunday - August 2, 2009 - Amanda, Nor & Swed Ch Elsto Khariz Amazing Amanda is Best of Breed under South African judge Jackie Jackson at the Tibetan Terrier Club Show in Norway and with an afghan entry of 19. She then goes on to Hound Group 2 under Irish judge Rodney McDowell.

July 10 & 11, 2009 - Fantastic results for Lusie in Sweden. Lusie comes of qualifying age and picks up both her Swedish and Norwegian champion titles. Friday she is CC winner, Best Bitch and Best of Breed at Halland Hundeklubb under Breed authority Tiina Taulos from Finland.
The following day she repeats her win at the International Show by winning the CC, thereby finishing her Swedish championship, the CACIB, Best Bitch and Best of Breed under another Breed specialist, Lena Kildeborg Jakobsen and then goes on to place 2nd in a very strong Group. Since she had met the CC requirements in Norway, she became a Norwegian champion as well.
LUSIE IS AT NUMBER ONE FOR MINIATURE POODLES IN THE HALF YEAR STANDINGS! GO LUSIE!! Lusie handled to these fabulous wins by her co-owner, Åge Gjetnes.

July 10 & 11, 2009 - Amazing Amanda finishes her Swedish Championship and is Best Opposite Sex at Halland in Tvååker, Sweden. Judge was Åke Cornander from Sweden. The next day at the International show Amanda wins the Champion Bitch class and is Best Opposite Sex again. Judge this time was Tina Permo. Congratulations.
Amanda is in the number 1 spot again for Afghan Hounds in Norway. Based on half year results.

June 28, 2009 - CACIB and Best of Breed and Hound Group 3 for Amanda at the NKK Show in Trondheim, Norway. Breed judge was Per Iverson (Norway) and Group Judge was Paul Stanton (Sweden). Amanda is presently number 1 Afghan Hound in Norway.

Lusie Does It Again!!

June 6 & 7th - Drammen, Norway. Edwina Thomas awards Lusie with the CC, the CACIB, Best of Breed and a Group 2 on Saturday. The next day, Lusie repeats her win of earlier this year and wins the CC and Best of Breed and Best in Specialty Show at the poodle specialty under judge Stephen Wheeler. Lusie was shown by her co-owner Åge Gjetnes.

SPECIALTY SIGHTHOUND BEST IN SHOW

May 30, 2009 - Amanda wins the day with Best of Breed and then on to Best In Show at the Greyhound Club hosted Sighthound Show in Hurdal, Norway under Joan Goldstein, sighthound authority from the United States. She was beautifully handled by Camilla. Amanda's mother, Am & Norw. Ch. Elsto The Winner Takes It All, was Best In Show in 2006 which was the 60th anniversay show hosted by the Norwegian Sighthound Club. These two shows are held in conjunction annually.

May 9 and 10m 2009 - Mid Atlantic Hound Association.
On Saturday, Cassie (Elsto Khariz Dixieland Blues) was Winners Bitch and Best Opposite Sex while Tripper (Elsto Khariz Day Tripper) is Reserve Winners Dog under judge Bonnie Linnell Clark. Cassie was also Best of Breed Sweepstakes under Anne Roth.
On Sunday, Dandi (Elsto Khariz Dandelion Wine) was Winners Bitch and Best Opposite Sex under Christopher Neal.

Breed Winners in Kristiansand

May 9, 2008 - Kristiansand, Norway - Yaffa, Omen Yaffa to Elsto Khariz, is CACIB winner, Best of Breed Saluki and Hound Group 2 while Amanda, Elsto Khariz Amazing Amanda is CACIB winner and Best of Breed and Hound Group 4. Camilla handled both Yaffa and Amanda in the Breed and Amanda in the Group.
Lusie was Best Opposite Sex on Sunday in Kristiansand.
